My second idea is to do a music video to Jake Bugg's song 'Messed Up Kids' by having a narrative based on the lyrics. They are malleable and allow for interpretation of teenage lifestyles that may be seen as 'unfortunate' by society. There a several characters mentioned in the song such as 'Johnny' and 'Jenny' which allows for a dual narrative within the music video exploring the lives of the two delinquents.
Johnny is a wannabe drug dealer and is lured into a life of crime by older kids as he had no hope for anything else. His reputation is very important to him as he 'hates a fight' so he needs to keep up the appearance of 'being hard'.
Jenny got kicked out of her home 'in hard times' which allows for interpretation within the music video and give the character more depth that within the lyrics alone. It is also hinted later on that she 'sells her body' which allows for a rich storyline in comparison to Johnny selling drugs showing how the two characters get by.
